Audio system Installation, Lumi Beach Resort
The project
The nature of the environment and its vastness presented a great challenge in selecting the right products. High humidity, intense heat, sand – these are some of the risks that had to be taken into account. In addition to protection, the system is also expected to provide optimal performance. In order to make the right selection of products for this specific location and conditions, the Lumi Beach Resort Hotel was assisted by DB Lumen.
Audio public address system
The main audio system consisted of CDD-WR Series speakers, high-quality and weather-resistant materials paired with impeccable sound quality made the Martin Audio system ideal for this application.
The CDD15 from the Thunder CDD-WR Series line was selected as the system’s to redefine the sound experience. These subwoofers are incredibly resistant to harsh weather conditions, making them ideally suited for this location.
For the system’s subwoofer DB Lumen had chosen to be SX118, As The SX118 is a compact, high performance subwoofer that extends the low frequency operating range.
Amplified controller
The entire solution was powered by Quattrocanali series from Powersoft as an amplified Series 8804 DSP offers the traditionally amazing sound quality and reliability.
Audio control
The system control was by BSS remote controls that enable a wireless control network via the iPad and phones.

Description
The Lumi Beach is part of Umm Al Quwain Beach 4-star hotel is set in tropical gardens with palm trees.
It offers an outdoor temperature controlled pool, Live music can be enjoyed on Fridays during lunch hours, Beautiful eucalyptus timber decked walkways lead up to a big timber and thatch beach bar, that was expertly built in a rustic looking heritage style.
The bar offers loads of seating and even a couple of swings for the brave of heart! During the day, the bar is cool and well shaded from the sun, but it’s in the evening when the natural ambience of the thatched timber structure is greatly enhanced.
Soft lighting adds a gentle touch of nostalgic romance and a fairy-like sparkle, taking the bar to a whole different level as soon as the sun sets for the night. Stunning timber pergolas flank the bar on three sides where a covering of timber laths provides welcome shade over a good number of dining and seating areas, creating an awesome spot to gather with friends and family over a couple of drinks and a bite to eat.
